Silkworms are a real delicatesse for koi.

In its natural habitat, the koi will eat insects and larvae in the water. in most cases in modern tanks,  that is not the case.

Silkworms are rich in proteins and lipids, which support the immune system, increase growth and enhance the color white.

Dosification:

If the water is over 18ºC, 4-5 worms is calculated by koi (30-40 cm) every 2 days.

If the temperature is between 15-18ºC, the amount is reduced every 3 days to 1-2 worms.

Below the 15ºC  feed only occasionally.
